Introduction
The database has been compiled from the Parish Registers and the Bishops Transcripts.
Where a baptism was recorded identically in the register and the transcript it appears only once in the index. Where there are differences then each version is in the index with a cross reference to the other (see disclaimer at end).
Although these are baptism registers about 8% of the entries also give birth dates and nearly 2% give ONLY the birth date.
